I both love this vision (and the anthropological wisdom that informs it) and struggle with how enough people could buy into it to actually implement it. What are the even smaller steps that would get us moving in the right direction before we leap into even step 1 with the assemblies of randomly selected people making decisions? I just think that if a society knew that the next steps included universal basic access and a steep wealth tax, step 1 would never be allowed by those who currently dominate society.

Strengthening and supporting third spaces (including communities of faith? Healthy communities of faith connect people across generations, culture and even political ideology….) would be one of the smaller steps, I imagine.

Or maybe I should read the first 3 of this 4 part series and that would answer my questions!

Wow, what a vision for an equitable future. Not in my lifetime as I'm 82 but I'll hold it in my mind to give me hope. And I'll do my bit to nudge things where I can.
